Connect Klaviyo to GoodMorning
GoodMorning reads your Klaviyo campaigns, flows and sign-up forms, shows them next to your paid channels, and tells you what to do about them. Connecting takes about a minute and needs no developer.
Before you start
You need a GoodMorning account and admin access to the Klaviyo account you want to connect. Read-only access is all we ask for — GoodMorning can never send, edit or delete anything in Klaviyo.
Connect in four steps
Open Settings, then Connections
Sign in to GoodMorning and go to Settings → Connections. You will see a row for Klaviyo alongside Meta, Google and Shopify. If you arrived here from Klaviyo’s App Marketplace, the install link takes you to this page automatically once you have signed in.
Click Connect and approve the permissions
You will be sent to Klaviyo to approve the connection. Klaviyo lists the exact permissions GoodMorning is asking for — all of them read-only. Approve, and you are returned to GoodMorning automatically.
Wait for the first sync
We immediately pull your last 365 days of Klaviyo history. On a large account this takes a few minutes; you do not need to keep the tab open. After that we refresh once a day.
Open the Klaviyo tab
Your email and SMS performance appears on the Klaviyo tab, and your Klaviyo revenue also joins Meta, Google and Shopify on the Overview tab so you can compare channels side by side.
What GoodMorning reads
Every permission we request is read-only, and we ask for the narrowest set that makes the Klaviyo tab work. We do not read your contact records: no email addresses, phone numbers or customer profiles ever leave Klaviyo. We only read totals.
- Campaigns and flows
- Revenue, orders, recipients, open and click rates, taken from Klaviyo's own campaign and flow reports.
- Metrics
- Aggregate daily counts — opens, clicks, unsubscribes, spam complaints, bounces — for the charts.
- Lists and segments
- Names and member counts only, for audience size and growth.
- Sign-up forms
- Views, submissions and submit rate for each form.
- Account
- Your Klaviyo organization name, so we can show which account is connected.
How often it updates
Once a day, plus a full backfill the moment you connect. The headline figures on the Klaviyo tab come straight from Klaviyo’s own reporting for whichever date range you pick, so they match what you see inside Klaviyo.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Connections and choose Disconnect on the Klaviyo row. We immediately revoke the OAuth token with Klaviyo, which uninstalls GoodMorning from your Klaviyo account — you do not have to go and remove it separately. All data pulls stop at the same moment.
The same revoke runs automatically if you cancel your GoodMorning subscription or delete your GoodMorning account, so leaving never leaves us installed behind you.
You can also remove GoodMorning from your side at any time, in Klaviyo under Settings → Integrations. Reconnecting from GoodMorning at any point restores the connection and refreshes the permissions we hold.
Troubleshooting
- The Klaviyo tab is empty right after connecting
- The first sync is still running. Give it a few minutes and reload.
- Sign-up forms are empty
- Accounts connected before we added form support need one reconnect to grant that permission. Settings → Connections → Reconnect.
Still stuck?
Email support@goodmorningco.com or start a chat from Settings → Support. Tell us which tab you were on and what you expected to see — a screenshot helps more than a description.
